Schedule of Classes: The Dance Factory, Inc. reserves the right to change the schedule of classes if necessary.  Classes with less than 4 students enrolled will be cancelled. If this happens, you will have the opportunity to select a different class.

 

The Schedule of Classes is reviewed and revisions will be made if necessary for the completion of the year-end recital.

 

Instructors are independent artists and professionals. Due to their professional schedules and non-employee status, your child's instructor may change during the school year. Unlike teachers in academic institutions who are hired for the school year term, The Dance Factory, Inc. instructors are hired for their services on a contractual time basis.

 

Registration Fee: The registration fee is non-refundable

 

School Year: The school year runs from September thru May and the tuition is based on 33 lessons per dance season.  Tuition is calculated into 9 monthly payments beginning September 1st and ending May 1st.  Payments are not based on the number of classes per month.

 

Tuition:  Payments are set up as automatic withdrawals from your checking account/credit card by the due date. If you choose to opt out of this option, there is a $10.00 processing fee that will be added to your monthly tuition. 

 

Return Check/NSF: There is a $38.00 charge and a $20.00 late fee for insufficient funds if payment cannot be processed by automatic withdrawal and/or returned checks. If we receive one returned check or one failed automatic withdrawal, your tuition will only be accepted in the form of cash, credit/debit or money order in person.

 

Billing/Payments: All payments are due the 1st of the month. We have a 5 day grace period, payments are late on the 6th of the month and a $20.00 late fee will be applied to your account if a payment arrangement is not made prior to the 6th.

We DO NOT send monthly statements.  Accounts are not allowed to go past 30 days. 

 

Refunds: There are no refunds for missed classes or costumes that have been ordered.

 

Cancellation Of Enrollment: In the event a student wishes to drop a class or withdraw from the school, notice must be received by the 15th of the month. If notice is not received by the 15th of the month, you are obligated to pay the next month's tuition payment.

 

Performance/Recital Fee: This fee is determined at the time of registration. Costumes will not be ordered without payment. If your dancer will not be performing in the recital, we require written notice by October 15th of the current year. 

 

Release From Liability Statement: No liability is assumed by The Dance Factory, Inc. for the purpose of the student for accidents caused by acts of said student. The Dance Factory, Inc. must be advised of any physical or medical conditions.

 

I do hereby release The Dance Factory, Inc. and it's staff from any liability occurring on or around studio premises, or at any other function held at other locations in connection with the dance classes in which the student(s) named above is/are enrolled. I declare that the student(s) above is/are in good health and can participate in dance education classes.  Given the nature of dance classes, and with the knowledge that injuries sometimes might occur, I have taken the necessary steps to obtain accident, health, or hospitalization insurance, which would cover any sustained injury.  In the event of an injury or emergency when I cannot be contacted, I give my permission for you to obtain medical services for the student (s) named above.
